How the bridal trial works
The session begins with a focused consultation about your wedding vision, photography plans and timing. During the appointment we apply two distinct looks—one on each side of the face—so you can compare them in real time. Photographs taken during the trial help you judge lighting and camera response without guessing.
The full BRIDAL TRAIL MAKEUP trial is performed within a 60 minutes appointment and is priced at $80. After you review photos and try movements, the artist records your chosen elements and notes any adjustments for day-of application, helping the final look to be tailored without unexpected surprises.
Choosing your best look
Choosing between the two looks involves weighing venue and schedule: outdoor ceremonies and Houston's hot, humid weather favor longer-wear choices and oil-management, while evening receptions may allow richer color. We discuss how each look photographs under different lighting and whether you prefer minimal touch-ups or a retouched reception appearance, so you can balance boldness and longevity.
Because the trial applies different styles side-by-side, clients often mix elements—liner from one look with color from the other—to craft a single final style. We also coordinate makeup with hairstyles, veils, and jewelry during the trial, using your reference photos or dress swatches to ensure cohesion across ceremony and reception.
