What happens at the trial
The trial begins with a focused consultation about your vision, photos and any skin concerns you want addressed. During the 30-minute session the artist creates two different looks — presented as variations on each side of your face — so you can compare color, coverage and technique directly and make precise choices.
This side-by-side format is specifically helpful for brides who need to see how products sit on their particular skin type and tone. The artist will note preferences, adjustments and product choices so the exact approach can be replicated on your wedding day with fewer surprises.
Choosing your final look
Deciding between looks is a balance of finish, longevity and how the makeup reads in photos and outdoors. Houston’s hot, humid summers and frequent outdoor events mean discussing wear time and touch-up needs during the trial. We test how colors perform under different lighting and consider whether a softer or more defined application suits your ceremony and photos.
The trial is also the time to coordinate hair, veil and accessories so the makeup and hairstyle work together. Bring photos and any headpieces you plan to wear; that context helps the artist recommend a final look that fits your personal style and the venue’s conditions.
Booking, timing, and location
The Bridal Trial Makeup session is priced at $55 and lasts 30 MINUTES. Amira’s Cryo Spa And Salon is located to serve Houston brides from Spring Branch and the Westchase area, with convenient access from Beltway 8 and I-10. Evening and weekend appointment options make it easier for commuters and working families to schedule trials around busy days.
Spring months—March, April and May—are our busiest for trials as brides finalize looks before the main wedding season. Because demand rises then, we recommend booking early. Many clients combine a trial with other salon services or shopping trips near Memorial City Mall or the Westchase District for convenience.
